War Axe: salvage for 10% furious or sell for about 10-15k.
Cesta: merchant

does everybody else agree? Wouldn't mind another opion before I try to sell this stuff. Also, I'm not a necro so I probably don't really know, but is my best option for a gold grim cesta really to just sell it to a merchant?

Lemme rephrase it for the cesta. As a death necro, is there ever a situation where you would prioritize quick recovery from crippling than say a 20/20?

Ok..so I took your advice and salvaged the war axe since the furious axe haft PC's at about 40-50k. However, I'm having trouble getting it to sell! It occured to me that typical guild wars players are more interested in complete weapons than mods. Where can I go that some elite collectors will buy my stuff?

Sit around in trade districts, it will take a while to sell at 40-50k. If you want to sell it quick, price it at 30k and it'll get sold within minutes.
